Verse:001
Abdul Daryabadi : Verily We have sent it down on the Night of Power.
Dr. Mohsin : Verily, We have sent it (this Qur'ân) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)[]
Mufti Taqi Usmani : We have sent it (the Qur’an) down in the Night of Qadr. [QETafseerComment]
Pickthal : Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Power.
Yusuf Ali : We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the night of Power:


Verse:002
Abdul Daryabadi : And what will make thee know what the Night of Power is?
Dr. Mohsin : And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?
Mufti Taqi Usmani : And what may let you know what the Night of Qadr is?
Pickthal : Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!
Yusuf Ali : And what will explain to thee what the Night of Power is?


Verse:003
Abdul Daryabadi : The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
Dr. Mohsin : The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allâh in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months)
Mufti Taqi Usmani : The Night of Qadr is much better than one thousand months.
Pickthal : The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
Yusuf Ali : The Night of Power is better than a thousand Months.


Verse:004
Abdul Daryabadi : The angels and the sprit descend therein by the command of their Lord with His decrees for every affair.
Dr. Mohsin : Therein descend the angels and the Rûh [Jibril (Gabriel)] by Allâh's Permission with all Decrees,
Mufti Taqi Usmani : The angels and the Spirit descend in it, with the leave of your Lord, along with every command. [QETafseerComment]
Pickthal : The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.
Yusuf Ali : Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:


Verse:005
Abdul Daryabadi : It is all peace till the rising of the dawn,
Dr. Mohsin : (All that night), there is Peace (and Goodness from Allâh to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.[]
Mufti Taqi Usmani : Peace it is till the debut of dawn.
Pickthal : (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.
Yusuf Ali : Peace!... This until the rise of Morn!
